ARTIST STATEMENT:
The elephant woman symbolizes a female figure who has adopted a half-elephant, half-human female identity. The elephant part provides the woman with wisdom, patience, but also gives her happiness when her human part faces prejudices. I painted this picture as a kind of manifesto for mothers of children who are too "different" (physically, mentally, or in any other way) in a particular cultural and social context, where society may have learned, to a certain extent, to tolerate these children, but their mothers are often the target of cruel comments and prejudices, which ultimately have a negative effect on the lives of these elephant women. The symbiosis of the elephant's head with the human body of a woman represents the integration of two seemingly incompatible aspects, and thus teaches tolerance.

INFORMATION ABOUT TECHNICAL CONDITION, POSSIBLE DEFECTS:
- minimal nubs and inconsistencies caused by the application of paint on the canvas (normal with the chosen technique, causes unevenness of the surface)
- Slight cracked paint appears due to the application of paint on the canvas (normal with the chosen technique, causes uneven surface)
- in certain places the canvas is white (part of the painting technique)
- The painting is painted, among other things, using the trickling paint technique, i.e. you can see the leaking flowing tones of paint.
NOTE REGARDING THE PHOTO OF THE PAINTING:
Photographs are taken in daylight, but sometimes also in artificial light, which can affect the displayed shade/tone of colors and the overall color tonality/atmosphere of the image. There may be reflections of light and shadow, and other slight irregularities in photographic reproduction. This may cause a minimal (and unintentionally caused) difference between the photographic reproduction and the original.

For the avoidance of doubt, I state that the terms and conditions set forth on the Site do not apply to the Agreement.
- Invoice. The Price will be paid on the basis of an invoice issued in accordance with the law. The invoice will be issued electronically, no earlier than the time of signing the Agreement. The invoice will be due within 5 days.
- Method of delivery. The method of delivery of the Work shall be agreed upon after the conclusion of this Agreement. - DOMESTIC USE OPTION. The only permitted use of the Work is by way of display. However, display is limited to personal use only. This excludes, among other things, displaying the Work in business premises or other public areas.
- COMMERCIAL USE OPTION. The only permitted use is use by display. Display is for personal and commercial purposes whose primary focus is not the display of the copyrighted works. For the avoidance of doubt, this means, among other things, that this right does not include display in museums, galleries, openings or other venues that are generally used for the display and presentation of works of art.
- COMMERCIAL USE OPTION INCLUDING GALLERIES. The only permitted use is use in the form of display .
